AEO Certificate

Europe Total Logistics holds the AEO certificate. Customs issue this certificate to businesses that are regarded as reliable partners in the logistics chain. The advantage of this certificate is that the number of inspections will drop.

The AEO certificate says something about the way in which the government views the business sector. The government confers more and more responsibilities on businesses. They have to ensure that all rules and procedures are followed. Customs only carry out random inspections.

The government does not of course issue the certificate to just any business. In order to qualify for this certificate, the business will be screened in its entirety. Internal processes, finances and past experiences are audited and assessed. The certificate is not issued before everything has been approved.
